Nobody ever said that Saddam planned 9/11

Really?! Well then please send a letter to CNN to correct themself.

In September, Cheney said Iraq had been "the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11."

And when you say,

There's lot of connections between Iraq and Al Qaeda

Then I must ask you to present your evidence to the 9/11 commission. Here is an excerpt from the same CNN article:

The panel said it found "no credible evidence that Iraq and al Qaeda cooperated on attacks against the United States."

You'll be wanting us to give benefit of the doubt to Kim Jong Il next.

Not a chance! I don't give the benefit of the doubt to anyone, ever! And this includes the government. You on the other hand seem to have no problems taking in the Neocon propaganda as the gospel.
