You and Bill Clinton have something in common; dickering over the definition of "is". <I did not say "there will always be evil in the world". I said "there IS always evil in the world." For as long as we have historical knowledge, and for the foreseeable future, that is true. >

Then you introduce that "foreseeable future" idea. What IS the foreseeable future? Why IS evil essential in the foreseeable future. I can foresee a world without evil.

Predictions are notably difficult, especially about the foreseeable future. Heck, even predicting the "is" of the WMDs went awry in a matter of weeks. So did "Mission Accomplished". "Is" it true that the USA brought freedom, democracy and human rights to the prisoners of Abu Grahib?

What IS the foreseeable future on Taiwan and North Korea, not to mention China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan? India and Pakistan have agreed not to nuke each other for now, but that IS temporary for the foreseeable future. Israeli Promised Land Zionists and Islamic Jihad Palestinians - let's not go there [to use some current idiom]. Those guys make the Protestants and Catholics of Northern Ireland look almost Christian.
