The point is actually much broader. It is not simply that members of congress do not have children fighting this war. Those who are fighting it are children of poverty. That is the whole point of the segments in which Moore talks to kids in Flint who see the military as a way out of dead-end unemployment. And that is why he follows the Marine recruiters as they cynically cruise the poor-people's mall looking for "prospects." This war, not surprisingly, exposes the class and racial nerve lines in the country and Moore simply points that out. M2
