I think (I hope) that the percentage would have been far less if people had not believed, most strongly, that Saddam was on his way to attacking the US with WMD's AND that he had participated in the 9/11 attacks. Now while our president never actually said any of that- what he did do was juxtapose the language about getting Saddam with the language about imminence and danger and how horrible attacks would be, and 9/11 and Al Qaeda, until some of our less informed citizens really believed in the war (remember the average IQ is 100- which means there are plenty of folks below that)- and just how are they supposed to work out the clever job of propaganda Bush did on the country? If Moore's film is propaganda, just imagine what Bush et al did. It's quite amazing really. Propaganda works- and of course it is easy to love when it is on your side- that's why the right loved all those speeches Bush gave (and Rush and Coulter and ...)- and of course that's why they hate Moore :-) Finally the left has some counter propaganda- if we can't have the truth, at least let us have both sides using propaganda. The left ( and all out media) kind of ceded the propaganda field to Bush, in some misguided sense of national unity, and for that they are to blame for Iraq.

Had the electorate been better served by congress and the media, I think that 50% would have been 25%, or less.
