Probably the same as CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and the etcs... Broadcasting is broadcasting. Content differs. Fox seems to be making a profit. Ditto EIB.

So do the ones I mentioned above. Advertisers pay to have people listen to them.

Not enough people seemed to care for Air America.
