About once a year I drop into these SI political threads to read a few hundred posts on the hottest topics. I enjoy those level headed & rational debates based in fact and compassionate common sense but they are all too rare here. The moment a truly meaningful post, article or idea is presented it is immediately smashed/bashed/hacked by the same few slimy jerks. Jerks who have absolutely no interest in dealing honestly with the extremely serious situations this country has been thrust into. Jerks with such narrow minds and narrower agenda’s, even a morsel of decency escapes their sorry selves. That said, I just want to thank you Joe and for the others like you on here, for your valiant efforts at staying the course of integrity and sensibility in the face of such weak-minded juvenile attacks. How are your dogs? Have you read Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor yet? Puna~
