Doesnt it seem clear that bush was told to stay where he was (probably for his own safety) until there was clarification as to exactly what had happened and what perhaps was coming. You think he was worrying about Moores movie then when he continued with the kids for seven minutes. What was he to do? The country was attacked and the govt was in turmoil--the situation was unclear. It was seven minutes. mike

Mike, President of the US told what to do, most powerful guy in the world, I don’t thnk so, that this should be the case in a case like this. What kind of a guy is this, it’s not that, but is he fit to do the job, that’s all, in this instance, seven minutes too long imo. I was a few blocks away myself and actually did some pretty stupid shit, but that doesn’t excuse him imo, he’s got way too much power. I haven’t seen the movie yet and now everyone’s seen it already <g> but the only reason that moore could put that stuff in, in the first place, is that bush failed the test.

What was he to do?

act like a Leader.

wrt survivability, your concern for his safety, imo he should have gotten mobile asap, say goodbye and go for a drive for gods sake, get away from where anybody might know where you are.

ps: sorry for the delayed response
