"Why didn't the Secret Service get Bush out of that school as quickly as possible? Why would they assume he wasn't a target?" Maybe they thought he was safe where he was. I don't really know why the President acted the way he did. But unlike the haters of the President I don't jump to some asanine conclusion and hammer him for every move he makes. What do you think the answer to the above is? That he is dumb? That the secret service is dumb? Not sure I would assume that since the World Trade Center was hit the next target would probably be an elementary school in Florida. Would be a pretty tricky target to hit, and even more difficult to plan for in advance. Probably safest to stay there for a few minutes until the danger is more fully understood. Rushing out of their with your pants on fire would probably be more dangerous than sitting still for a few minutes. But the haters will only look at the negative possibility, and will always assume the worst. And of course feel free to use their negative (and most likely incorrect) assesments to slam the hated one.
