Great.....!!!

We were there in mid September and traveled in a car from lake Como into the northern mountains around Dorf Tyrol and Cortina, hiking and staying in beautiful inns.

No wild flowers but a few inches of early snow. <smile>

High in the mountains amongst the grassy pastures, hair pin turns and single lane roads, we helped a kid pick up his Triumph after he'd dumped it on a wooden bridge in the snow. He was an Aussi..... had never seen snow much less driven over a slick wooden bridge.

There were 10 cars all lined up either side of the bridge and nobody willing to help.
So Barbara and I got out.... those big Triumphs can be heavy.... we helped him move it off the bridge.
He was shaken up and nervous, but all in one piece.
Kid had picked it up in Britian and was on a 6 month trip through Europe.

I use to own a Honda 305 Dream.....
