I am waiting to see if with the handover of sovereignty, the kidnappings, violence etc. will abate. If it does then it is not the Islamic terrorists but the Iraqis who wanted the US out and have the US hand over Iraq to the Iraqis.

Could you explain this a bit more, please?

It would seem to me that if kidnappings and violence
abate that it would have been the terrorists who
wanted the US out. How could you possibly attribute
that to the "Iraqis" at large, based on your premise?

I also think that the presence of foreign agitators/
terrorists versus the Iraqi population at large
is the real problem. These folks want instability,
whether under US occupation or under the transition
government.
