I wouldn't call him an American hater, that's hyperbole. He's a critic of society, we need guys like him. Not swallowing everything the Pres and his pals have to say about our "enemies" as gospel is perfectly fair, imo. Look, I supported the war and deposing of Saddam. I argued that it was mistake the day Bush Sr. turned his back on that country. Tell me, of all the threats the president said Saddam posed to our freedom, which have turned out to be true or were valid reasons to go to war? Isn't fair to question what the President's true agenda might have been if the reasons he gave for going to war were virtually all false? And I wouldn't call the Iraq foray a success, would you? Doesn't that also invite criticism? Especially in light of evidence that the President was not interested in what the State Department advisers had to say about an Iraqi intervention and what was really required in terms of troop numbers. As well, further evidence that the president was out to get Iraq on the basis of 9/11 even though there was no evidence that implicated Iraq. That the president is palsy walsy with Saudia Arabia, in spite of the fact that most of the 911 killers were from Saudia Arabia?
