To Doak and All.

My apologies for intercepting, but I felt compelled to comment on this
subject. Remember that when you buy oil company stocks, you are supporting the same people that brought you the Valdez disaster and
numerous other nightmares.

My point is that we are all concerned about making money, but maybe too we should step back and make sure that the companies we are investing in are aligned with our own values, whatever they may be.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with shorting Exxon ;-).

Just in case you think I'm too paranoid, remember that Standard Oil (who later became Exxon) sold gas to the Nazis during World War II.
If Exxon hadn't been supporting Hitler, the war could have ended much sooner.
