Government to discuss banking sector's development RosBusinessConsulting. Thursday, Jul. 1, 2004, 9:32 AM Moscow Time The Russian government will discuss the development of Russia's banking sector at today's meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov. Russian Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin will make a report on this issue. The Cabinet will also hear a report by Healthcare and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov on plans to improve the law on pension insurance with regard to the right of future pensioners to choose between different investment trusts and non-government pension funds. Additionally, the government will discuss the drafted provisions on the Transport Ministry, the Federal Agency for Air Transport, the Federal Road Agency, the Federal Railroad Agency and a number of other agencies and ministries.
