I think AARP realized they weren't going to get much this time around and took what they could get. That doesn't mean they did seniors any favors but I don't think this POS card program will be the same program by 226. I predict they will convince Washington to allow reimportation from Canada before 2006. This WILL help and to a certain degree and the Government wont have to pay anything to do it nor will they have to go to the extent of of price controls.

No doubt the AARP deal sucked....but I stand by my take that AARP took what they could get at the time.
