Not sure exactly where you are coming from, Mary.

For some reason you believe that I am sincere?

I am always sincere. And most of the time, I consider myself to be motivated by humanitarian instincts.

I favored the war in Iraq because I am unalterably opposed to dictatorial tyranny under whatever guise it seeks to impose its will on others.

People have the right to choose. Once that right is denied them the results are always deplorable. Much better to let us make our own mistakes through democratic processes than have some one else determine for us what kind of mistakes we are allowed to make.

Sometimes, it does take liberation in order to make it possible for people to have access to the rights that freedom commands.
