Looks like Moore wins. That Newsweek rebuttal was rather weak. All it did was state that Bush wasn't directly involved in all the various oil deals and conflicts of interest. But the writer fails to point out that down in Houston there's not much separation at all betwen the Bushes, Carlyle, Baker, Enron, Reliant, Halliburton, Cheney, etc. It's basically all the same tight-knit club. They proved that by colluding in 2000-2001 to create a phony energy crisis ripping US consumers off for a hundred billion dollars.
