Points to an exact replay of 2000. I just hope that whoever wins the electoral college wins the vote. This red/blue state thing along with the polarization in the country which it represents has made it incumbant on all pols to eliminate the electoral college before 2000. Why should i vote at all in NJ--its in the dem camp. Why should someone in kansas vote--it belongs to bush. What we need is one man one vote and then everyone who cares will vote. Bush can go to california and campaign with arnie and pick up votes then which he cant really do now because additional votes in CA wont win him anything under the present setup. Write your congressman--we are headed for a mess with this electrical(g) college thing. mike
