the trouble in the US is we have too many who want to blame others for their lack of effort PLUS they think they deserve an easy life/job just because they are Americans. I totally agree with you here, actually. We've got to do something about these CEOs and CFOs, they are totally out of control compensation wise and not globally competitive. CFOs in india make $150K/year, no options. Financial management is not worth what we pay for it. Plus the number of VPs at many tech companies is out of control, AND if the entire operation is offshore we should be moving the management offshore too where some real cost savings can be had. At this point, the "spoiled american" cliche really applies to MANAGEMENT. This is going to be a tough nut to crack though.
