Here is the post I responded to - I've highlighted the parts I copied and responded to.

All the US Presidents before had a strategic interest in keeping Saddam in power and contain his influence. This President, whom we all knew had the stupidest notions about foreign policy decided to go and take him out. Now the balance of power has tilted and lurking out there is Iran and its nuclear potential.
His stupid actions have upset the geopolitical balance. And the US cannot restore it alone as was evidenced with Bush rushing to hand over sovereignty to Iraq to some unknown entities.

As you can see, I addressed about half the language in the post - those parts I felt most important.

The post I responded to didn't have this in it though: where I said that lately there have been many Bushies on TV saying that "..if I knew then what I know now, I would never have supported the war." So naturally, I didn't address something that wasn't in the post I responded to. But I'll address it now - What you just posted about "Bushies" not supporting the war, is I think the viewpoint of a small minority which has been affected by the massive anti-Bush media campaign.

Now I have to ask you something again - do you really think it was in America's interest to leave Saddam in power? I ask because you did say All the US Presidents before had a strategic interest in keeping Saddam in power and contain his influence. That isn't true as a statement of fact about all previous US Presidents because both Clinton and Bush I supported the replacement of Saddam's government although they did not take the steps necessary to make it happen.
