John clearly feels that language like "The Israeli puppeteer travels to Washington. The Israeli puppeteer meets with the puppet in the White House" is legitimate, appropriate, within bounds, mere political criticism of Bush's policies - excuse me, of Sharon's policies, since Bush is the puppet.

If the Left says it, it's appropriate. That seems to be the rule. I don't remember John endorsing Buchanan when he said things like this, but then, Buchanan was never on the Left.
