Probably a number of reasons, different ones for each. I suppose the things they have in common is that they were all much smaller actions. That the justifications were humanitarian, not a phoney self defense argument. And that 1000 US soldiers were not killed, that they didn't drain the national treasury, that there was world support for the actions, that they didn't over-extend our armed services to the point where our National Guard is mostly overseas.

I could probably go on... but in the end you will say that the outrage is partisan, so what's the point.
