KT - blame it on Clinton & Rubin et-al who promoted the strong dollar policy and the technology which enabled just in time, offshore contracting etc. No administration could cope with competitieveness from India, China and Eastern Europe - highly skilled workers are doing the same job as in the US for a fraction of price. Cliton was the best friend of the litigation attorneys which by itself resulted in close to 5% of GDP to go up in smoke to BS litigations and measure to avoid BS litigation and ambulance chasers - those types are same type of swindlers which roam WS No excuse for this administration which made matter worse - but there are also others to point the finger at. Unfortunate the US has it's own local grown extorters and terrorist that inflict more damage on the US economy than OBL did - the problem is that no one does something about it. We need to weed out those bad apples graduating from various law or business schools and universities and wearing expensive suits Woud not be bad to send them to reorientation camps in some mines or swamps
