John clearly feels that language like Hardly. What John, speaking in that wonderful third person bit, objected to was the generalization Bill offered which said, what is said so many times, and you've said it, that criticisms of the ties between the Bush administration and the Sharon administration are anti-semitic. That term, anti-semitic, continues to lose it's serious meaning as it becomes a victim of the political wars of personal attacks.
