Haim, I was talking about Bush's mismanagement, which destroyed the dollar from Euro .82 to Euro 1.23 where it is today. And Reagan destroyed the dollar against the Yen. Other currencies didn't matter then as nearly all of our imports were Japanese. Crazy Ronnie was the best President Japan ever had. True, Clinton had a lot of correcting of Reagan's idiocy before the dollar could show its true strength.

BTW, the destruction of the dollar goes back much further. When I was in the Army, 1966-1970, we used to play a lot of poker. Put in a quarter, put in a DM, all the same in 1966. By 1970, you had to put a quarter a dime and a nickle in to call a DM bet. That was Johnson and Tricky Dick, two of the biggest idiots before Dumbya took over.
