Carnival Strippers. Photographs by Susan Meiselas. Sounds interesting. Funny, I didn't remember the carnivals having "girl shows", but I just asked Mr. Croc and he says he he thinks they did have them a long time ago. Based on the cover and a few of the photos, they seem sort of bizarre -- I can't help thinking of how much the cover photo reminds me of going to the local livestock sale barn! Yikes!! I'll bet it's an interesting read. The few photos that I saw look very artsy. And there's a CD voice recording (and us just having discussed the idea of including CDs with books). -croc
