Portfolio update - ELX, AMAT, HUM, WPI
Even though I have raised some cash (sold my trading position in AMAT and some of my Brazilian telecoms TSU and TMB) my portfolio got clobbered due to losses in ELX and ABC. Since I assume that the issues with CAH are mostly company specific, i am holding onto my ABC. I have decided to add to ELX at 11.33$ I consider it cheap at 2x tangible assets (mostly cash and ST investments) and a forward PE of 13. Market leadership and a chance that the business recovers if the revenue shortfall really is due to distribution channel issues. I established new positions in HUM and WPI. HUM is cheap at 10x earnings and WPI is cheaper than it historically has been for a long time with a P/S of around 2 and a PE of 13-14. The stock has it hiccups before and always recovered, even if it has taken a while.
