What about Muslims and Jews who want to be buried at Arlington Cemetary (or any other military cemetary) and don't want a cross? Are they able to "opt-out"? There are no crosses at Arlington...cheney was caught in a lie about it during the 2000 campaign, in which he plagiarized a poem written about the cemetery in Normandy and applied it to Arlington, to show his "compassion".
