Consider that reading comprehension is undoubtedly low for most readers on these threads, as demonstrated by most of the responses I get to my own posts. I don't gain much from pointing out the obvious. Therefore, I usually don't comment on what others may or may not have learned in school in regards to reading and writing. You opened this door on yourself, so I will comment.

I am not being funny... but in school.... do they teach you to read only in short sentences, not willing (or capable) to hold a concept for long... how do they call it?

I read James Joyce in school so the answer to your question is no. But, more importantly, I learned to write in complete sentences and to make my points concisely using paragraphs longer than one run on sentence. What makes your posts so laborious to read and consequently, difficult to impossible to comprehend, is the lack of sentence structure and the continual occurrence of non sequitur. You lean on that ellipsis with the false hope that others will be able to fill in the missing words and follow your convoluted stream as you bounce from one unconnected thought to the next. Because of this, it is ironic that you'd accuse others of having a short attention span. I challenge you to write just one cleanly composed concise sentence containing a complete thought.
