You do have a point here. But the tie to the Arab world as well as to Israel is not that vastly different. Else how do you explain the fact that immediately following 9/11, the US let a special charter flight out of the US with the bin Laden tribes as passengers. And none the same, the Wolfowitz factor and strong ties to the Jewish lobby will continue also.

My personal concern is for the US and the US residents and what the President should do for us: jobs, health care, security, opportunities such as education etc. Foreign policy is also a concern to me but not the only concern to the extent that the only thing I keep posting on SI is anti-some sect or religion. That's my point.

The disagreement I have with you is how much should we beat that question to death.
