Cherry entering Pentium power market. Nice article in EDN (Engineering Design News) Aug 15, about the new generation of power ICs required for the newer/faster processors. Cherry is prominently mentioned as designing parts that "pave the way for future lower supply voltages." Also points to Cherry as having one of the cheapest solutions. Cherry is advertising alot in the tech journals (like EDN and EE Times) introducing thier venture into this market. Big potential, if they can land design wins in Pentium motherboards. Check out another company mentioned in the article, Unitrode (UTR) -they are soaring. Keeping an eye on this one....... Randy
