I finally saw it. I can't stand Michael Moore as a person. The more that I consider the possibility, the more I am convinced that Moore has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. requires excessive admiration

Fahrenheit 911 had far too much of Michael Moore in it. He narrates much of it with his own voice. His face makes repeated appearances in the movie.
The segment about the military recruiters and the black kids being recruited just pisses me off. I'm still angry at Moore for being so racist. First off, he says something like "poor people? Oh, I'm from Flint, MI, and we have poor people." Coincidentally, virtually all of the poor people are black. A group of maybe ten kids are talking about the military, and Moore implies that they have all been fooled by the recruiters. A minute later, Moore cuts to a classroom of white kids, and the very first white student has the recruiters figured out immediately. He says they tell kids whatever they want to hear. Coincidentally, the one "smart" white kid bears a striking resemblance to Michael Moore as a teenager. This segment of the movie says to me, "Black people are poor and stupid."
The attempted "perp walk" interviews with the Congress people on the sidewalk are a total cinematic failure. I think that they are just there to give Moore more face time in front of the camera. That whole segment should have been cut.
And finally, I had just about enough of the crying lady at the end. That went on far too long. That whole segment should have been much shorter. It was a blatant attempt at emotional string-pulling. This movie should have been 90 minutes at the longest.
I'm glad I didn't pay money to see it, and btw I am no fan of GWB.
I don't agree with copyright laws, and I don't have a problem with people downloading the movie and sharing it...as long as they're not trying to make a profit off my labor zdnet.com.com -Michael Moore
