Why does the kerry campaign continue to distort/lie about the Bush tax cuts? I just watched Terry McCauliffe on face the nation say the top 1% got all the benefits of Bush tax cuts. Now - our family is not in the top 1%. However, I absolutely can state that our income increased substantially - as in the amount in the pay checks - as a direct result of the Bush tax cuts. Yes, there was a small increase in our State tax made due to the recession - but even that pales compared to our reduction in Federal Income tax. How long will it take before people simply realize the whole kerry campaign is being based on distortions or plain and simple blatant lies? Why can't they simply run on legitimate issues where they differ from Bush. Is it because they so disrespect the intelligence of the population that they think they can say anything and get away with it? Bob
