difference nowadays on presidential evaluation
it has become tribal in nature
loyalty dominates over objectivity and even perception capability
back in Nixon's era, plenty of Republicans could see fault
in today's day and age, Bushy supporters are blind
and Clinton supporters were also blind
take someone like Wstera for instance
he dismisses all evidence against his view
he blames all criticism on liberal media
he exaggerates all flimsy positive evidence
he sacrifices all intellectual process
he shifts his foundations to suit his purpose
he changes past premises from past debates to suit his purpose
he even dictates to the dissenter how he thinks, what he is influenced by, and what his sources of information are
he attempts to justify my thoughts as politically motivated, and dismisses that I might dislike all political animals
he turns all criticism into a political tribal issue
he inquires objectively nowhere on the detracting side
he loudly produces supporting evidence and calls it indisputable
he fails to realize the politicization of most everything in his thoughts
he has regressed into an adolescent intellect
he is unaware of even how his capacity has degraded
these traits are commonplace now
they are actual strong signals for totalitarian thought
if too many leaders employ such thought, and gain power, then fascism is right around the corner
and leaders will recruit people like Wstera for powerful positions
this is scary
what is so sad to me is that guys like Wstera are nice men, can be good friends, but because of political virus have become twisted political animals
and yet are unaware of the pathogenesis
due to such tribalism, Clinton supporters got rabid during the impeachment proceedings and during the Starr Special Prosecutor process
Clinton supporters see no wrong, not even sale of pardons, not theft of White House property, not campaign fund violations, not lying to the public
it has become a lower level tribal affair
no wonder the difference in approval ratings between register Repubs and Dems is so wide, wider than at any time in US history
it started with Clinton, who promoted tribalism extremes
Wstera sees none of this
he and rabid political animals has lost their way
the Bushy approval difference is wider than Clinton's
I even hear of liberals saying "it is payback time"
the result is free process degrades in democracy
Wstera sees none of this, even justifies his rage in this
I am not a political animal
I observe political animals, and am totally unimpressed by their ethics, their character, their methods, their debating styles, their logic, and the depth of intellectual usage
I am unimpressed with Kerry
I am unbelievably unimpressed and betrayed by Bushy
I liked Clinton but thought he did horrible damage to the presidency
