Actually, when I typed this, I made a typo, googling it with two e's by mistake: " I just googled demure [that last e was the typo] and romance novels just for the hell of it."
What I really googled was romance novels and demur. 'Demur' being the word that you seem to feel was associated with someone's (you didn't say whose, but I think it was Democrats') insistence that you "take it in the butt."
If there's a straw man here, it's attached to your "butt," which you keep dragging into the conversation. What's up with that?!
No one is interested in the subject of your "butt." Only an overactive, fevered imagination causes you to associate the word 'demur' with homosexuality and elicits from you gratuitous and uninteresting declarations that you "don't take it in the butt" and such.
