But onward and upward, I hope,<g>, We went to a small bbque yesterday afternoon and eve.. The count was 4 totally against the war and 2 for in a lukewarm sort of a fashion, "Well if we are in there, we have to finish the job" type reaction.. What job? They didn't even know.. I could go on with a crude analogy but I won't.. <g>..
So moving on, to elaborate on the so-called arguement by that other side of why Clinton was impeached.. I meant to include it on my last post. They argue with that LAME arguement about how he LIED under oath,,
Jee US Keerist. . don't they know,, a LIE is a LIE is a LIE, whether it is UNDER oath or NOT.. What is THE oath? An arbitrary thing set up by a passing society that may or may not be in effect in a few years. A lie is STILL a Lie in MY book WHETHER under the so-called oath or not..And ALSO UNDER a higher book than mine..
It lasts FOREVER whether one telling it puts his/her hand on the bible, a spruce tree or if able to reach the moon, it doesn't matter. For the so-called oath is transitory but the LIE isn't, it lasts forever...
There have even/or have been societies where the word lie was NOT even in their vocabulary because they didn't understand or even KNOW the concept... I am with them..
But I and a few/many understand the gravity of a lie, whether under oath or not, and that's what counts..
