sorry, I'm still not Bernie (either the Zoom Bernie or the Ascend Bernie (VP - Strategic Planning or whatever), but I wish I had the latter's stock options! In a probable exercise in futility I ask that maybe at some point you (plural) might try dropping your cynicism and entertain the notion that it's *possible* that what I've suggested is true - that rather than misleading anyone it is ASND's mgmt. that was mislead or that circumstances changed from the expected, causing prior statements to be rendered inaccurate. Check out today's SF Chronicle story on ISPCON, being held now in SF. Check the remarks by an official of Erol's - pretty much what Ejabat had predicted 8 months ago or so regarding ISPs switching from ASND gear to Total Control's X2. But of course that's just one ISP's opinion, albeit a major one. Dee Jay
