Torture strikes at heart of what it means to be a free people -- by setting the stage for torture, this Administration has destroyed freedom, not expanded it. Instead of looking for excuses to brush aside the "quaint" features of the Geneva Convention, Bush et al should have been taking every precaution to ensure that the Geneva Convention was applied unfailingly with ALL prisoners, everywhere.
