Just how many of our founding fathers were Muslim? Frankly, I would have said JUDEO/CHRISTIAN as I believe most of our constitution and laws of the land have that base but to deny even our very heritage sounds pretty stupid to me. jdn

Tell your story to Thomas Jefferson. Back in 1802 and earlier, he was all for the separation of church and state; that not one religion should impose itself on the rest. And that was when this country was truly a Christian nation. However, today, while still having a Christian majority, we are made up of many religions as well as atheists and agnostics. So screw this Christian nation BS and if the TX GOP wants to call TX a Christian nation, let it lead TX to secede from the union.
