Reverend Al is the antithesis of personal responsibility, that fine Libertarian precept. Earlier this year, he sued the Louisiana primary board for taking him off the ballot. He had not paid the required amount of money to be on it, did not provide campaign headquarters location information or how he should be represented on the ballot, and did not submit funds in an authorized method of payment. Furthermore, what little info he did provide was an incorrect phone number so he couldn't be reached to clear up the matters before the primary registration deadline.
Thus, he sued them because he wasn't on it, his claim being, of course, racism. One's own inability to jot down a correct phone number on a registration form is just another example of "whitey keeping the black man down!" (Sigh) With leadership like that, he harms the black community as much or perhaps even more than the KKK. |
