If there was no imminent threat, then there is no legal basis for war. Bush et al did absolutely everything possible to make it seem that there was an "imminent" threat -- of course there never was such a threat and the war has no legal basis, but that aside, nobody should be left in any doubt about the intention of the Administration to try to make it seem as if the threat was imminent. To come back now and say "we never used that word" is poppycock. The denials drip with dishonesty, insincerity and lack of accountability. It is shameless.
