To be a left wing extremist you must agree to promulgate this propagandized doctrine about what Republicans 'think' (1-10)
Not being either I find my self defending one side against the other way too often. Why should today be any different. For example:
1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary > > Clinton.
1) I know my share of republicans and have NEVER met one who hates homosexuals. It is in no way a criteria for being Republican nor is it common for people to hate homosexuals.
> 2. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.
2) The majority of suffering in the world is either directly or indirectly resulting from personal choices in life. People who pray for the improved well being of others tend to be more concerned for their kin or members of their community and social sphere, but also for persons out side of that sphere.
In any event taking drugs to enhance social experiences is definitely a choice and can hardly be thought of as anything but a self aggrandizing indulgent choice. The exception would be becoming addicted as a result of medical treatment which is usually accidental and tragic. When it is the result of deliberately abusing prescription drugs to get a buzz, it is no different than the choice to abuse illegal drugs. Except in the case where someone becomes addicted while under medical treatment, the addiction is a choice, a moral choice, and one that is closely associated with and sometimes directly associated with criminality.
"3. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
3) We are a nation that is ruled by law. We must be vigilant about our rule of law being contaminated by alliances or agreements to subordinate ourselves to the rule of others. It seems inconsistant on the part of left wing extremists to fear big business but endorse government overlords like the UN.
4. Government should relax regulation of Big Business and Big Money but crack down on individuals who use marijuana to relieve the pain of illness.
4) Big business is a boogey man for left wingers in some cases, in other cases people are just plain envious. There is nothing wrong with being watchful and cautious with regards to entities that can wield economic power over our people but we should also be respectful of private property and free enterprise. This is in no way connected to the issue of medical marijuanna which we knew would be a winky winky way of circumventing the law. The real issue is whether to legalize drug use or not. Stand up for what you believe in and drop the silly code speak. You want people to be free to get stoned without sanction... say so.
5. "Standing Tall for America'" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.
5. "Standing Tall for America'" means a lot of things. I like for example: "Land of the Free," "Home of the Brave", and "With Liberty and Justice for All."
I also like the free enterprise system. It is what has kept us innovative and productive. There are many many endeavors that need to be worked. Competition lowers prices and generates innovation. Without it we become stagnant. When we stagnate, we drown in the pool of problems each generation leaves for the next. The solutions of this generation will define the problems for the next. Get to work on solving the problems of tomorrow like, inventing and developing alternative energy sources.
Lots of work there, but the schizophrenic left wing extremists wouldn't be able to gripe about losing assembly line worker jobs that 'Big Business' makes available for people who can do them even while stoned on 'medical marijuana'.
OK ... somebody else can take the next five. And, feel free to edit my grammar and spelling. |
