I don't know about the numbers for all women in America, but the Abortion rate among teenaged women (especially those under the age of 18) are at multi-decade lows (as is the pregnancy rate of teenagers, as is the birth rate for teenaged mothers). re: "The ban of partial birth abortion was perfect for Bush. Giving him a chance to posture and look like he's doing something when the ban really has no affect on abortion numbers at all. The Republicans don't really oppose abortion. They just need your vote. "
