Please explain what law the left had promulgated that does not respect "the establishment of religion". Be very spec"

Not sure what "promulgated" means. I am not contending that they have established laws. They are saying things (throught the ACLU) like the word Christmas should not be on a calendar,

Not heard that one....you'll have to provide a link.

a cross cannot be part of the seal of Los Angeles (even though it is a small part and is historically significant to the "City of Angels"),

Los Angeles is a multi racial, multi religious city. A cross is no more appropriate on their seal than a Star of David or a mosque. It shouldn't have been put there in the first place, and its even more out of place in the 21st century.

and that you cannot say the words "under God" in the pledge.

That "under God" phrase was introduced to the pledge by the GOP in the early '50s. Prior to that time, we never said those words. I suspect they will be stricken eventually.

They are claiming these SPECIFIC things are against the 1st ammendment. But none of these are items that could remotely be construed to mean that congress has passed a law in establishment of religion. Not even close.

That's not the issue.......the issue is separation of church and state.

"The GOP is a party sanctioned by the United States and puts up candidates who will run our gov't"

So what? If it offends the people, they will lose the elections. If it is illegal, take them to court. Like I said, I'm not into them doing it (thought you would be happy we agreed), but not going to lose sleep over it.

The Constitution says there must be a separation of church and state. The TX GOP is violating that provision.
