I cannot understand how anyone could continue to
tout Moore since those over the top comments.

My sense is that many of these very left media
and high profile types secretly believe what Moore
so openly stated. They just keep it to themselves.
In Moore's case the arrogance just overflowed.
It's that elitism. (Maybe his supporters put themselves
in the elite category rather than the stupid category.)

The funny part is that Moore actually believes his
own press clippings. Does he really think he would
have won in Cannes or gotten all this publicity if
he had chosen a different topic for his so-called
"documentary"?

IOW, does he really think he's a great filmmaker
because of all the bruhaha over this film? If he does,
who's fooling whom?

Too bad others give him the time of day.
That effort to snuff the film was a stupid waste
of time. I don't know what's wrong with people
anymore.
