Yiwu, Here's why China can never amount to much. Look how it fails to revere it's wise, thoughtful and perspicacious elder [and his beloved wife], a doctor who saved swarms of people from sars. It puts them in the slammer for "re-education". Europe in the dark ages had the Inquisition and Heresy Trials. I guess China is like an embryonic human = gradually going through development stages on the road to Utopia. China is currently in olde Englishe condition with serfs, King [Jiang Zemin], Sir Lancelot [Hu Jintao], acolytes, Knights of the round table [politburo]. But they don't seem to do a lot of White Tower torture which is nice, so in some respects, they are quite 20th century. People like you still flee to the wealthy and libertarian western world. I suppose his wife is considered to be in the army too and therefore should be gaoled because he expressed opinions. They should be honouring said doctor, not re-educating him. If he has opinions about the Tienanmen Square civilian occupation and suppression, it shows their weakness that they wish to gaol him.
