Jim, in February 1985 or so the UDX index was 164 and there was a much lower trade deficit that it is today at UDX 89.

More so in Sept 92 the UDSX was 78 and trade deficit was lower than today.

I think than in the early 1980'ies the UDX was 82 and the traded deficit was relatively small.

IMHO teh UDX should be aroud 80 to 85 more or less
