You'll have to put a little more art into your hedging efforts.

You first posted regarding:

No mention of Al Qaida as a threat whatsoever. [M]eanwhile Kerry was warning about it 1999-2001.

Now, you're adjusting your earlier assertion:

[T]the Kerry speeches warning about Al Qaida type attacks inside the US.

Message 20280562

Not a terribly subtle difference, is it?

For Kerry to have warned about Al Qaeda specifically might have been prescient; that Kerry merely said that terrorism was a "threat" - or that we may one day face attacks on U.S. soil (in particular almost half a decade after the first attack on the WTC, as the book was published in 1997) - doesn't impress me in the least.

You are, of course, free - and encouraged - to disagree.

:-)
