Yes, right now I'm just a spectator. No I didn't catch the top. There were sales at least 1% higher and some current asking prices are up to 10% higher. In March-April-May prices were going parabolic and some people just slapped another 10% or more on top of last sale price.
As I said sales are brisk and people are still very optimistic. Yes, there could be a little slowdown in RE which would be like a measly appreciation of 10% a year. Everyone knows that there is shortage of land in California. -g/ng- A realtor told me that there are still willing buyers and if you want to sell you need to price just a little below market. It will be seen later in August what is going to happen to inventory. There is a lot of new construction, but new houses are a lot more expensive.
