One last thought, tejek...

If we are to compare records, with respect to doing one's SWORN duty as an elected official, just remember 89% versus "42%".

Seems to me that Kerry has set quite a precedent, with respect to dereliction of duty. Are we to assume that this is the same kind of performance we can expect if Kerry gets elected? Sorry, but 42% (if that number is to be believed) seems kind of tame when compared to Kerry's 89% absentee record.

You really don't get do you?

First of all, the 42% number is a real number. I have a substantive link to prove it.

Secondly, Kerry's absentee voting record does not mean he was on vacation during that time; instead he was campaigning for the presidency. Its not an excuse but its at least an explainable absense.

With Bush's absence, he was screwing around swimming at his Crawford pool, horseback riding at Camp David or playing with his dad's segway up in Maine.

Please tell me you do see the difference. Its there...just look hard enough.
