It seems to me that you may be of the view that right wing nazi anti-semitism is bad because nazis are bad but when the left gets into the game what they say is to be forgiven or forgotten or minimized because their motivation is pristine?

Fascism, at least of the German sort, has never fit comfortably in the right/left dichotomy for me. So I don't think of it as right wing anti-semitism against left wing innocence. There clearly was a great deal of anti-semitism in the Soviet Union. No one debates that. So, historically, if you wish to put German fascism on the right, it has not been a respector of political positions.

And I'm certain someone who knows the history of anti-semitism well could make the case that it is no respector of the French Revolution right/left distinctions.
